I was watching Law & Order last night and saw a commercial for Rock Band 2. It looks like the RB2 release date is September 14th. Just an hour earlier I'd gone to GameStop, traded in some old games, and reserved by bright and shiny new copy. Hopefully my new drum kit is here at the same time.
It looks like my new addiction is getting closer to released. It looks like all of the pieces for the new Drum Rocker kit from Ion are available, which means an additional cymbal as well as a double bass pedal. Maybe with a double bass pedal I can make it through some of the tougher speed metal songs and won't be so exhausted at the end of Green Grass and High Tides :)
I'm not sure what the whole Musical Baton thing is about, but Bill Horvath shot it my way, so here goes :)
According to iTunes: 16.84gb, 4033 songs which would take 11.3 days to play all the way through. I also have roughly 50-100 CDs that I haven't ripped to iTunes yet...
Gorillaz: I actually heard two of their songs on an XBox game, Project Gotham Racing. Very good tunes with lots of heavy beats
Well I just woke up and hit play on the iTunes, so it's Jimmy Buffet's Volcano in the Party Shuffle :)
Had a good night tonight at the Rhythym Lab taking Bongo lessons. I learned a very hard lesson though. Keep that thumb away from the Bongo when you're not playing Martillo. Tain't fun I tell ya...
This one's been in my iTunes list for a few weeks now, and I like it more and more everyday. Then I checked out his site and love it even more :). Bob Schneider's site makes a great use of Flash, while at the same time letting you listen to his entire album along with commentary on each song. Veeeery nice.
